I have a favorite purse. It's the right size and dog hair doesn't stick to it! ☺ Unfortunately, the strap is fraying. I was pretty upset about finding a new purse. Not only for the expense, but also because I really dig this one! The solution? Buy a new heavy duty ribbon and replace the strap.

The cost was $1.98 for the ribbon minus a 40% off coupon, for a total of $1.26 {with tax}. I get to keep my favorite purse, and I don't have to keep cutting strings off of my purse strap! Yay!The side view:
